I threw together a quick essay about my experience helping out the Occupy Wall Street Library folks the other day for Salon, and you can read that here. I didn’t have a lot of time to do it, so I wish it could be a little bit tighter, but sometimes writing is more about the sentiment and timing, so I feel OK with it existing in the universe. My only regret is that I did not more explicitly state how much I think the librarians are HEROES. Because they are.
