I have a reading this week! This Thursday at KGB Bar, I’ll be doing the Drunken Careening Writers series for I think maybe the fourth time? It starts at 7 PM. As I have in the past with this series, I am reading from work-in-progress. I am super excited about it, although I must admit I haven’t decided what to read yet.
Anyway, hope I’ll see some familiar faces there.
This weekend was fun and weird. There was a cab driver playing a Led Zeppelin album, his windshield wipers in motion even though it wasn’t raining. A stoned waiter who brought me cocktail napkins with my meal. I ate a lot of bread. I caroused around town. I emailed with a stranger. I looked at cellphone pictures of New Zealand. I wore a wool hat and wool tights.
Tomorrow: two doctor’s appointments.
