I had a really good time taking pictures on this trip
I got home from the airport to find that my charming Australian subletters had washed the sheets and towels they had used. This is called Exceptional Behavior.
There have been a lot of people behaving exceptionally well lately. I feel like I can’t thank them enough, though I try to. I had excellent hostesses in Evanston and Chicago who very generously picked me up at airports and dropped me off at train stations. My family was very nice to me and spoiled me rotten. (Once the youngest child, always the youngest child, even when there is a 5-year-old hanging around.)
Just tonight Amy and Chris picked me up at the airport. And it was raining. And it was Sunday night. Such tasks are usually reserved for lovers.
It was nice to put myself in someone else’s hands for a little while.
Thanks everyone.
