JMZ ride home. Can’t remember exactly when/if I’ve ever taken/posted shots like that before, though I am sure I have. It seems like an extremely obvious thing to do, but nevertheless I found it enjoyable/ fulfillng
I’m reading tonight at Bar Matchless with 257 other people as part of Vol 1. Brooklyn’s Greatest Three-Minute Rock ‘n’ Roll Story Ever reading. Come early or late, it don’t matter, ’cause we’re all picking numbers out of a hat to see what order we’re reading in. I think everyone’s going to be awesome though. Three minute readings! Musicians and lit types joining forces! Plus accordian interludes! People might get laid off this. That is my prediction.
As I mentioned I’m not reading reviews anymore (because it just feels super vain and self-indulgent at this point, even if they are bad reviews, it’s just like enough already, you know?) but I will point you in the direction of blog posts written by two women I’ve never met before, Lizzy and Jennifer, who took the time to respond to the book in a really thoughtful way, which I very much appreciate. Thanks, ladies.
