Yesterday I walked all over Williamsburg and then went into the city and bought Clementines in a crate and then I came home and ate four of them. All I want to do is eat Clementines now. Lie around on my couch and stare up at the ceiling and eat juicy little Clementines.
Later on I met Claire Zulkey and her posse for a rushed but lovely dinner at El Almacen and then we drove off to Claire’s reading at Word with Doree and Sara Barron. It was packed! It was actually a perfect reading, funny and light and it moved fast. Those ladies really killed it.
These weekend Joseph Lappie is in town so I shall see him for drinks tonight at Lolita. And then I’m hiding out till the big book party next Thursday.
