Massive explosion of me.

Val’s kick-ass shoes

With less than a week away from the book launch, my Amazing Internet Publicity Push begins. Here’s an interview I did with Teddy Wayne for the Huffington Post, where I say things like:

“I’m part of a system, a big mainstream publishing system, that’s faltering at the moment. I chose to be a part of it and am complicit in my partnership with it. We’re all just desperate to sell books, and I don’t think anyone is any position to be resentful. I’ll save my resentment for when the economy recovers.”

How about that noise?

I also did an cooking/book chat interview with Emily Gould this weekend that was pretty special. I’m on Team Gould about nine million percent. She has so many books in her apartment, and her cat is awesome. How can I not be?

I took some pictures during the shoot, which you can see here. I think that interview goes up maybe in a week or so on a couple of websites. Don’t worry, I’ll tweet/status update/blog the shit out of it, just like I’m doing everything else. I don’t know how not to.
