It’s cold and I’m super grumpy and I can see a book promotion to-do list starting to grow but I’m too fried at the end of the day to touch it. I think I’m going to stay in on Saturday night to try and make some magic happen.
During the day on Saturday I’ll be at the Centre for Fiction Writers’ Conference. I am speaking on a panel titled “What Happens After the Book Deal.” Which is sort of hilarious because right now my answer would be: Become extremely grumpy.
Oh, and there was some early press!
The Courier-Journal said:
“Attenberg is a brave, honest writer with scary talent, and this novel about a young woman heading west to escape a failing marriage and a small town is her best yet.”
And here’s a little interview with the Chicago Tribune‘s local section.
Now, back to being grumpy.
