A very fortunate omen for both personal and business affairs.

Who am I kidding, I can't get any writing done. I finished up two articles this morning and now I'm all obsessing on the book. On the good news front: Janice "The Bomb" Erlbaum is going to read with me at Brooklyn Book Court on February 27. Also Stephen Elliott told me that I will be joining Tobias Wolff, Walter Kirn, Adam Johnson, and Ali Liebegott at his Progressive Reading Series in San Francisco on January 19th. What an absurdly great list of writers.

And tomorrow, maybe mid-afternoon, I'm going to announce the contest. Please get your digital cameras ready. You are going to win a free copy of the book and you will get to read it before anyone else. Seriously this is an awesome and fun contest.
