Dan Wickett, of Emerging Writers Network and Dzanc Books, is basically the nicest small pressy/literary networky/internetty person ever, and he is having a write-a-thon fundraiser for Dzanc Books this Saturday, November 15th. Dzanc supports writers through publishing their books, the annual Dzanc Prize, and also several writers-in-residence opportunities. There's a lovely spirit behind what Dzanc is doing, so please consider contributing.

And just look at this list of authors donating their time. Jim Ruland! Amy Guth! Randa Jarrar! Kyle Minor! And Mr. Wickett himself!

Donate, and these authors will become your friends. Seriously they will come over to your house and eat all your food. You will never get rid of them. But then you will know some great writers. And god knows everyone loves a writer.
