Origami baby.

Last fall I was working on this pop-up book while I had the broken ankle. I may or may not have been on painkillers while writing it. (I was.) But I think that's appropriate, given the material, and it was actually so much fun to write, high or not. Then I kind of forgot about it, and then I just saw that it's actually coming out and I have to tell you, it looks pretty rad and I WANT A COPY RIGHT NOW.

And I am nine million percent sure that this book is going to sell more copies than all of my novels combined ever. (Don't worry, it was work-for-hire, which means I don't actually make any money off it after the intial fee. Wouldn't want me having financial stability or anything like that.) But my novels do not have WINGED MONKEYS flying out of them.
