Five pounds heavier.

Somewhere in Vermont; Napa
Yesterday when I took the subway into the city to pick up keys from Cinde I had to cover my ears because the noise from all the people talking was making my head spin. I don't know, does that qualify as culture shock? Or insanity?
It was so quiet in Vermont I could hear the bees buzzing outside when I was sitting inside.
People keep asking me if I'm happy to be back and the answer is: yes, and no. "Yes" because I can't believe how attractive and well-dressed everyone is in this city. God I needed some eye candy.
And "yes" because it's nice to see my friends. Last night I went to see Fiveash at the Jones and Kerri and Jeff at Loreley and Cinde met up with me half way and ran around with me and we had a really good time.
"No" because of the buzzing in my head, the non-bee buzzing, that unstoppable noise of the city.
I think I just need to get used to it again.
This weekend: Mets game and Whitney's birthday party at the beer garden in Queens. And on Sunday I am totally sleeping till noon. Don't even try to stop me, because I will cut you.
