Keep looking.

Morning walk, 12th Street or so
I dropped off Pauls at the airport yesterday around noon and that was the last time I spoke to anyone besides counter help. (Everyone is always complimenting my clothing here, but it might just be a thing people do all the time in the Portland universe.) I went to sleep at eight last night and woke up at 5:30 this morning. I refuse to give up this early morning rising habit I've developed the past few weeks. There's no obligations early in the morning except to myself, and I like it.
Acupuncture today, yoga in a few minutes. I'll cook chicken sausage for lunch. I've got to call back a contact at the Oregon Burn Center (yes, another hospital novel!) for research this afternoon. I want to read a book a day for a while. There's a teevee here, but it's hidden in a closet. I'll start writing next week.
I wonder when I'll get lonely. It feels like: never.

Jonny made another book trailer, this time for the brilllz Janice Erlbaum. I have some pictures from the shoot I'll get to posting soon enough, but for now, please watch the video, and also the behind the scenes video, in which I make a small guest appearance.

This is the best Portlang blog I've read yet. Eating eggs benedict alone, touching and brilliant.

Please note I have dropped out of the Eugene reading on the 10th. But I'll see you in Portland on the 13th! And that will probably be my last reading till next year when I do my paperback tour. Unless something magically happens in the fall in New York.
