Last night at the Chateau Marmont I saw an actual honest to god LA bimbo, with the bright blonde hair and the impossibly blue blue eyes and the fake tits out to here and the $500 blue jeans and the black silk top with the aforementioned fake tits spilling out of it. We don't get a ton of that in New York, at least not in Brooklyn. It just must be so much work. The maintenance. I was exhausted just looking at her.

Besides bimbo-spotting I have mostly been working with Bernie on our little film project. Also we had drinks with some bloggers last night and there was much talk about blogging and books. Also we've been driving a lot. Like, a lot.

But mostly it's been inside time because it's been pouring rain. I'm staying in Topanga Canyon, which is mudslide territory. People talk a lot about retaining walls out here which I am enjoying. I am finding I want to know more about mudslides and how to prevent them. Also people talk a lot about road closings because of the mudslides. This is thrilling for a girl from New York.

I still wouldn't live here though. Too much goddamn driving. But I like it here a little bit more this trip.
